Country living with wind chimes

As the stress of everyday life increases, many people are drifting away from the city and attempting to spend more and more time in the country. There is certainly good reason to do so. Country living offers a safe, simple and traditional way of living that is difficult to attain in larger, more suburban areas. Country homes, with their large porches, tinkling wind chimes and expansive backyards are certainly enticing to individuals looking to get away from the stress of the daily grind and escape to a way of living that is more soothing.

If you have recently moved to the country or you are considering a move to the country, you may find that furnishing a country home is quite different than a home in the city. One of the most important aspects that should be understood about country living is its basic simplicity and nod to traditions. The porch is one of the most important areas of any country home.

In many ways, the porch provides an extension to the rest of the home. In many country homes, porches wrap around the entire home or are at least quite expansive. Most porches on country homes are large to serve a number of different purposes. They can be used for relaxing, resting, dining, visiting or simply enjoying the beauty of the country. Regardless of how you choose to use your country porch, a set of wind chimes can not only enhance the beauty and relaxation of this special area but can also provide a welcome when you return home. If you entertain frequently, you can count on your guests being welcomed by the tinkling serenade of music from your chimes when they first arrive.

The type and style of wood chimes that you choose may depend on the outdoor dйcor you have selected for your porch. Many homeowners select dйcor that will blend in well with nature; including wood furniture. Cedar and pine are two of the most commonly used woods for outdoor country living pieces. When selecting your wind chimes for your porch, consider selecting a set that will beautifully compliment your existing dйcor.

In many ways, a country porch serves as an outdoor living area. As such, you may want to set up several wind chimes to provide a background of soothing music while you dine and entertain. Whether you are dining outdoors or simply relaxing in your rocking chair and watching the world go by, you will be able to listen to the soothing sounds and tunes of your country wood chimes.

With the wide variety of styles and designs available in wind chimes today you will be certain to find a set that will perfectly suit your country living style. From traditional to whimsical to personalized and unique, wind chimes are a must for your overall country living theme. When placed strategically on your porch they will add a pleasing visual and sound dimension to your country experience.

Christian wedding songs

Weddings are a joyous celebration of the love and bond between two people who have chosen to come together as one. They are usually conducted in front of a minister or priest, in order to celebrate the solemnity of the occasion and to make it more binding in the eyes of God and man. And what better way to celebrate that bond other than with music—with Christian wedding songs, to be precise. Although the traditional wedding march is the common music that plays in the background, imagine walking down the aisle, looking all beautiful, while there is music playing that expresses exactly how you feel that special day. A Christian wedding song whose words evoke a special meaning between you and your future husband. Now that would indeed be something special.

Religion & Music

Most religions consider wedding ceremonies to be a form of worship service, and thus, are very strict about preserving the solemnity of the event. This is the reason why most churches do not allow the playing of popular love songs during the wedding. So, how do you choose songs that are not only religious in nature, but also focus on values and ideals related to love and marriage? Well, this happens to be where Christian wedding songs come in.

Christian wedding songs offer a balance between a love song and a religious song, which is extremely perfect for wedding ceremonies and the receptions as well. These types of songs set the tone for the whole event, ushering in an ambiance of being not too solemn and not too informal. Hence, you can have the wedding song of your dreams playing as you walk down the aisle through Christian wedding songs.

Searching for the Songs

There is quite a remarkable selection of Christian wedding songs that you and your future spouse can choose from. Choosing a song can be a challenging task, because there are a lot of very good songs out there. You would want to choose a song that carries a special meaning for you and your future partner, something that’s not so common that you’ve heard it a hundred times at other weddings you’ve been to.

If you’re not too familiar with Christian wedding songs, you can opt to visit your local music or record store and browse through the available selections there.

Or, you can also surf the Internet. You will surely find a whole lot of sources for Christian wedding songs. Some websites even post lists for the most popular Christian wedding songs being used, which you can also check out.

If you’re going to hire a DJ or a vocal soloist for your wedding, you can also ask him or her with regard to the music selection they have available on Christian wedding songs. You can ask for recommendations as well, in order to limit your search. Have them play it in order for you to be able to make a decision whether you want to use it in the wedding or not.

Hiring Vocal Soloists

Hiring a vocal soloist for your wedding will indeed bring with it a more special and intimate touch. Accompanied by either a piano, guitar, or violin, singing Christian wedding songs live can definitely make your wedding into a more unique one.

The vocalist can sing the Christian wedding songs you chose, be it during the lighting of the candles, before the procession, before the vows, during communion, etc. It all depends on you.

Christian Music

Music happens to be one of the most important elements in a wedding as it sets the tone and mood of the whole event. Whatever Christian wedding songs you choose to play in your wedding, it will surely be imbedded in your memory forever. So choose something that corresponds with what you feel in your heart and has special meaning to you and your future spouse, because hearing it again would surely bring back memories of your very special day.

Yeren the wild man of china

The debate on the link between humans and apes has not yet been completely resolved, according to many experts. Neanderthals who were evidenced to have existed in Central and Northern Asia 350,000 years ago, provided the scientific community with information on human evolution.

Compared to the famous Bigfoot and sasquatch of North America, China has its own version of the creature, called yeren in the native tongue, which translates as wild man. Paleontologists claim that possibly 1,000 to 2,000 of the yeren live in Central China, particularly in Shennongjia Nature Reserve, in Hubei province. Variants of the name are xueren, yiren and yeh ren, which more accurately means wild man of Shennongjia.

The yeren is described as a large animal, appearing much like the orangutans of Southeast Asia, but are bipedal and can walk upright. The height of the creature is estimated between five to seven feet, with the entire body covered with red to dark brown fur. The yeren has a large belly, but is reported to be able to move quickly and run fast. The facial region resembles a cross between an ape's and a human's. The yeren can leave a large footprint, about 16 inches long, displaying five toes like humans, but with a structure closer to that of apes.

Scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences have gathered evidences for the existence of the yeren, which is claimed to have been seen by many tourists in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve. These experts have been able to uncover footprints, and have even made plaster moldings for further examination. Most scientists theorize that the yeren may have been a species of giant ape, called Gigantopithecus blacki, which lived in Asia but was declared to have been extinct for over 500,000 years.

Many of the locals believe that the yeren is a carnivore and preys on humans. Their tales narrate stories of giant beasts that grab captive humans by the arms and eat their flesh after. Though the Chinese scientific community continues to send expeditions to the nature reserve in search of the yeren, many of their assumptions remain as theories. However, the stories of the yeren continue to be part of Chinese folklore and myths.

According to the journal of Cryptozoology, some more detailed descriptions of the Chinese wild man are: the hairs covering its body are about three to four centimeters long, the male genitalia resembles that of humans, the female yeren has prominent breasts, and the creature gives a distinctive yell as part of its language.

Combined theories from accounts and observations of yeren stories claim that these creatures don’t live in communities, but males and females move about in pairs. Though they walk on two hind legs, the yeren can use all four limbs when running fast or when climbing. As old tales regard the yeren as man-eaters, most accounts claim that they eat fruits such as berries and nuts, sometimes insects, and empty corn cobs have been located in areas where the footprints were sighted.

There is a website that describes the Yeren and numerous other creatures of Cryptozoology in detail, this website is called: Unknown Creatures and it may be found at this url: unknown-creatures. com

Beating heart or cheating heart

With Valentine's Day just around the corner you'd be surprised at the number of people that, instead of buying chocolates, are working with a private investigator to evaluate exactly how true that true love is.

Do you suspect that your Valentine is possibly planning on buying more than one card this year?

Here's a short list of things that may indicate your significant other is playing the field:

Has his or her schedule suddenly changed? We are not talking about a shift change at work or a few hours of overtime. No, what we're discussing here is a blatant change in their schedule. Large time holes that they can't or won't explain.

This is the number one indication that something is awry. I would venture to say that, nine times out of 10, when a client lays out this scenario for me it results in a partner that is cheating.

Another thing to watch for are expenditures. MONEY. Does he or she suddenly have less of it? More of it? Either can be a giant red flag. If you've been dating or married for any length of time and your partner’s spending habits or accessibility to money has suddenly shifted, there might be a reason.

In your own backyard?

Also watch your own backyard. Your best friend, your neighbor, the new lady or gentleman living across the street. If your partner is spending an inordinate amount of time there, perhaps some questions are in order.

Weekend trips or outings with his or her friends that are not common should also be viewed as a signal flare. If you're asking questions about their whereabouts and not getting a straight answer, there is possibly a reason why.

Now this is not to say that all people who have secrets are cheating. Not all secrets are bad.

A little anecdote for you. Several years ago, very near Valentine's Day, I was asked to do an investigation for a woman who suspected that her husband was cheating.

This woman had good reason to believe that he might be unfaithful. Her husband was disappearing every Sunday morning and not returning until very late in the evening. This was very unusual and had never happened during the 15 years they'd been married. Her husband refused to discuss it with her and did not even attempt to make up a small excuse.

He simply refused to discuss it at all.

So, of course, our client assumed that there was another woman.

I won't go into all the details out of respect for the clients privacy. To keep a long story short, the bottom line was that this gentleman actually was not a cheater.

This man was in love with his wife. Very much so, in fact.

Every Sunday this man would sneak off to work on a second job so that he could buy a special gift for the woman that he loved on Valentine’s Day. He was saving every penny to get just the right item. That’s how much he loved his wife.

Just because you see a red flag, do not assume that your mate has gone astray. Contact us and we can relieve your suspicions one way or another.

However, if the red flags are there, do pay attention and, if in doubt, be sure and contact your professional. As a licensed private investigator, I can tell you that in my experience some of the most violent encounters are between lovers in the heat of the moment.

Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to trail, track, follow, etc. your partner. More times than not, this can ruin the relationship, but it can also result in a situation that could end badly – for you or your significant other, or both.

We are highly trained in covert surveillance, tracking, photographic or video evidence and can assist you should you believe that your better half has found a new hobby.

Snickers workwear 3212 trousers road test

If you have been observant, you will have noticed many workers wearing Snickers Workwear recently. Snickers seem to be the latest big thing in the work wear and safety industry. Not one to be behind the times we decided to try a pair of the Snickers 3212 trousers.

On first inspection, the pants seem rather high quality. The smooth material that makes up the majority of the pants is what Snickers call Dura twill, which is a mix of cotton and a synthetic man made fibre called polyamide, which is a more modern form of nylon. This so-called Dura twill has a nice feel to it and apparently is easy to clean and care for, which we will certainly find out about when Mrs Nickson gives them a wash.

The pouches and pockets on the pants are made out of a material called Cordura, which is like the hardwearing material that sports bags tend to be made out of. The Knee areas and pockets appear to be quite hard wearing, in comparison to denim at least.

In wearing, the pants seem comfortable, at first. Plenty of room around the groin area, fit well over the boots and the waistband sits nicely (more on this later). Snickers say they trousers anticipate your next move, which seems a bit like sales patter, but in truth, the 3212 trousers are complete un-restricting, without being like the baggy pants an angry teenagers may wear.

Put more simply you do not feel like a fool wearing them, and to be honest I think they are quite trendy, in work wear terms, remember nobody is going to want to wear an Armani suit to a building site, unless your one of those corporate types on a jolly.

After wearing them for Eight hours, I must admit the waistband started to get on my nerves, but then again I am 57, and I have a bit of a belly.

One thing that did start to annoy me even after wearing them of just a couple of hours is the stupid, stupid pouches. I am sure if your carry a selection of 400 nails and screws, 20 screwdrivers and a slide rule around with you, you may find them useful. Nevertheless, with me, they just got in the way of my pockets.

Speaking of pockets there are many things snickers have right. The phone pocket for instance, on the left leg, is such a great place to store your mobile. It really keeps it out of the way you are not going to smash it against a wall with your knee, and it keeps it from bouncing around.

The Ruler pocket on the right leg is handy I guess. I don’t carry a ruler with me, but I tried these the pocket out. Nevertheless, if works well and keeps the ruler out of your way when not in use.

The back pockets are quite ingenious too. For my sins, I smoke and usually with any other pants, you sit down and end up with a crushed cig packet. The pockets on the snickers come out at the sides, so you do not crush anything when you sit down.

Washing and cleaning wise, the 3212’s are pretty easy to clean, or so my wife says. I would have thought they’ve be hard to iron, but turning them inside out reveals a nice smooth surface, fantastic, no ear ache.

In Summary, could not recommend a pair of 3212’s the pouches just got in my way too much. However, just before writing this article I found out snickers made a 3312, same pants, and no pouches. I ordered four pairs.

If tool pouches are your thing, order yourself a pair of Snickers 3212 Trousers. If being comfortable and looking good at work is your thing, buy a pair of 3312’s now, you won’t regret it.
